What a busy weekend! Friday Jerry dropped the girls off with his mom and we left with my Aunt Julie for a nice 2 ½ hour road trip to Fort Wayne, IN. My Aunt Betsy lives in Fort Wayne and we went to visit her and watch her run her very first mini marathon (13.1 miles) race. Aunt Julie, Jerry, and I biked 9 miles around the race course cheering her on and giving her encouraging words. She did an amazing job and we were all so proud of her! After the race we went for a celebration lunch and Aunt Julie, Jerry, and I headed back home. We got home around 4:30 and Jerry and started cleaning the house for Ally’s birthday party, which was today. Jerry’s mom brought the girls home around noon and the party started at 1:00. The kids made tiara’s and pirate hats, played a few games, ate cupcakes & ice cream, and then Ally opened all her wonderful presents. She loved everything she got and had a great time with her friends.
