I find that January's are not very exciting for our family. We seem to take very few pictures and do very little with family and friends. I wonder why that is...maybe because we're trying to regroup from all the holiday's and business that December brings. Either way, there's really nothing new to report out at this time and I really don't have any pictures for you...I guess there are two things that has happened in the past week I could tell you about:

1. Jerry and I took the girls for a haircut last Friday. It was Ally's third one, but Lauren & Olivia's first haircut...and boy did they need it. I'm not sure why, but I had a hard time with it. It's like they're growing up, which is good, but it's probably one of their last "first" things to happen as "babies." It's hard to explain, I guess. Anyway, I didn't have the ladies cut too much off the girls hair because their long hair is so pretty and like I said, I had a hard time with it. Ally's hair did get cut quite a bit, but not as short as she wanted it. She wanted it as short as mine and I wouldn't allow that, she's too cute for really short hair, but it is at her shoulders.

2. All the girls are sick. They have been sick for two full days now and I feel horrible for them. Ally's got a fever, a sore throat, and is losing her voice. Lauren is finally over the fever, but she's still stuffed up and whiny. And poor Olivia is stuffed up, has a fever, has a cough, gooky eyes, and to top it off she puked tonight. I hope they all get better soon! My poor babies. The ONLY good thing about them being sick is they like to cuddle when they're sick, so I get to hold them and rock them...just like when they were real babies. The past two nights have been a little rough for all of us. The girls wake up at random times, come in our room and wake us up, then they go back to sleep for awhile and wake up crying, it's never ending...or it seems never ending. Last night around 2:30 am I heard a cough. I knew it was OG, but it sounded very close to me. I opened my eyes and noticed she was laying on the floor next to my bed in the dogs bed. I almost started laughing, but then I just watched her for a minute or two until she stopped moving and fell asleep. Then I got out of bed, got her a blanket, and covered her up. Eventually she woke up and went back to her bed...and at 5:19 am all three girls were wide awake in our bedroom wanting to watch a movie. That didn't happen...I sent them all back to their beds and they all fell back asleep, thank God!

I pray they ALL get well soon! AND that Jerry and I do NOT get it!
